94-97 4.6L Supercharged Thunderbird/Cougar   The thunderbird kit is basically just a 96 GT kit with a few minor changes. It has all the same advantages of our Mustang GT kit with some packaging changes unique to the Thunderbird. The plenum cover is a bit lower for hood clearance (Yes, it does clear the stock hood) and the intercooler fill tank is mounted on the supplemental fuel pressure regulator instead of the firewall. Just like the GT the kit includes an Eaton M90 supercharger, new aluminum intake manifold, intercooler and a bypass valve. It is based   on our Rev I inlet manifold which is upgradeable to our twin-core intercooler and Race-Kit Lysholm screw compressor. Power increases are about the same as the GT but notice the graph is for an automatic transmission, like all 4.6 Birds. The low speed torque is obviously not the actual torque but as you can see, the percentage gain is huge throughout the entire RPM range. This is on an otherwise stock vehicle, and with our base kit with a fuel pump and supplemental fuel   pressure regulator. E-tuned kits have substantial gains in the midrange compared to this. The kit is available in a 6 psi, 6 psi e-tuned, and a 9 psi forms. These manifolds are also availablefor Power improved (PI) heads for vehicles with upgraded cylinder heads. Installation time for   this kit is approximately 20 hours for the 96-97, more for the 94-95’s. Since the kit was originally designed for the 96-97 model years, the 94 and 95’s require the stock inlet manifoldparts to be upgraded to 96 specifications.
